SNAP Burlington – May 2013

Ireland House at Oakridge Farm had a special visit from the Easter Bunny on Mach 24! Egg-citing activities included carnival-style games, face-painting, crafts and live entertainment, featuring Juggle magic. Guests learned how the Irelands celebrated Easter throughout the eras; sampled a traditional Easter dish with historic cooking demonstrations, dyed an Easter egg like they did in the good ol’ days; took a tour of the house and discovered history, and simply imagined life as it was over 200 years ago! Thanks to the generous support of Rocca Sisters, admission was free! Children received a free goody bag and a ticket that was entered into a draw to win a special prize. Rocca Sisters SP’EGG’TACULAR Easter Event had a remarkable total attendance of 1, 942 people and helped to raised $3, 437.97 to put toward children’s educational programs. We want to thank all who joined us on March 24, 2013.
