5. Keep your emotions in check & don’t fall in love with it yet. If you found a home you like, make sure your offer is contingent upon a satisfactory home inspection conducted by an inspector.

6. Save some extra money to redecorate your new home to fit your lifestyle, and to pay for unexpected repairs.
