Dundurn Castle – A Victorian Christmas – Hamilton
On the first day of Christmas, Dundurn opens its doors for FREE! Join costumed interpreters at Dundurn Castle for a free tour of the lavish home of Sir Allan MacNab and his family. The Castle will be decorated by The Garden Club of Hamilton with cedar boughs, ribbons and dried flowers. Bring your family and share a Hamilton holiday tradition. Saturday, November 26th, 12-4pm.
Festival of Lights – Burlington
The Opening Ceremonies for the 16th Annual Burlington Lakeside Festival of Lights are scheduled for December 4th at 5:00 p.m. at Spencer Smith Park located at the foot of Brant St. and Lakeshore Rd. It is always a glorious site to watch the Burlington Waterfront come alive with an array of holiday lights.
Join Santa Claus at Spencer Smith Park for Burlington’s definitive ‘Welcome to the Winter’ event. Enjoy free hot chocolate compliments of Coffee Culture (Brant Street) served by the Burlington Civitan Club. Join in a Christmas carol sing-a-long as you wait for the traditional procession of the Burlington Teen Tour Band. The Park will be instantly decorated with a holiday glow upon the lighting of the CHML Tree of Hope.
Christmas in Downtown Oakville and Bronte Village
Downtown Oakville is always a terrific destination during the holiday season. This year, Downtown Oakville will be holding the Downtown Oakville 12 Days of Christmas Contest in which the businesses of downtown Oakville will be coming together to give away over 12 Grand Gift Bags over the course of 12 days leading up to the grand finale draw of a $2000 shopping spree!
The holiday season is relaxing in Bronte Village too! Join with carolers in local stores festooned with holiday dcor and sing in the season at the Annual Tree Lighting festivities on Sat. Nov. 26th in Bronte Village.
Wherever you decide to celebrate the Holidays, from our family to yours, the Rocca Sisters Team wishes you all the very best the season has to offer!
