It was a day filled with fun and enjoyment as The Rocca Sisters teamed up with The City of Burlington as the Presenting Sponsor of their 26th Annual Children’s Festival this past Sunday.

Beautiful weather was on hand at the picturesque Spencer Smith Park on Burlington’s waterfront in which more than 20,000 attendees came out to take part in the countless festivities which included a meet and greet with Queen Elsa, Peppa Pig, Spidey and Batgirl.

With FREE admission to the event, compliments of the Rocca Sisters & Associates, the festival featured a lively children’s magic show and special giveaways including temporary tattoos and stick­ers – handed out to families who stopped by to see the Rocca Sisters & Associates at one of their three event tents.

“This is our way to say a big thank you to the community for all of the support you have shown us and for once again making us the number one team locally,” said Cathy Rocca.

Other activities included main stage shows with Isabella Hoops, and children enjoyed face painting, balloon animals, a colouring contest, bouncy castles and children’s play zones.

 Named one of the top 100 festivals and events in Ontario, the Children’s Festival is a wonderful opportunity for families to be active and enjoy some time together at Burlington’s beautiful waterfront.
