Join us on Saturday, June 8th for The Rocca Sisters Healing for Women’s Cancers 5 & 10K Walk/Run! This exciting event will be taking place at Bronte Creek Provincial Park and is supporting a very important organization in our community, Breast Cancer Support Services. We know so many wonderful women that have been touched by this disease, one of which is very near and dear to our hearts, our Mother Joan Rocca, who we lost in 2009 and whom we dedicate this race to.

Breast Cancer Support Services has been located in Burlington for more than 20 years and serves the communities of Burlington, Oakville, Hamilton, Milton & Niagara. They provide comfort and support to women and families living with breast & gynecological cancers. They offer services and programs to help them deal with the stress of their treatments, information to help them make good decisions about their care, and peer support to let them know they are not alone.

Walk/Run registrants will receive a Rocca Sisters Healing for Women’s Cancers technical t-shirt. There will also be race medals distributed and prizes awarded for overall category winners and for the top pledge fundraisers.
