It was a day full of fun and entertainment as the Rocca Sisters Team joined the City of Burlington as the title sponsors of the 27^th annual Children’s Festival on Sunday August 19, 2018.

Beautiful weather drew huge crowds of happy families to Spencer Smith Park on Burlington’s waterfront to take part in the countless activities, which included a Mega Magic show, Birds of Prey Show, Isabella Hoops and CRASH Rhythm on the main stage as well as the very popular meet and greet with PJ Masks.

With FREE admission to this event compliments of the Rocca Sisters Team, Cathy and Tanya Rocca hope that all attendees had a fun-filled and enjoyable day.  “This is our way to say a big thank you to the community for all of the support you have shown us and for once again making us the number one team locally,” says Cathy Rocca.

The Rocca Sisters Team had three tents, each of which had their own special activities and giveaways. The first tent hosted Jungle Jim and balloon animals, the second tent featured the hugely popular face painting, and the third tent included the crowd-pleasing KidsPlay with Coach Dave, colourful hairspray and a colouring contest, all of which had many smiling participants. The Rocca Sisters Team handed out temporary tattoos and stickers to families who stopped by each tent. There was also a raffle for some fabulous prizes, including a $50 gift card and Spiderman Meet and Greet at Boston Pizza, gift baskets, and a Rockin’ Jump Prize Pack. The winners of these raffles and colouring contest will be announced the week of September 4^th on our Facebook page and here on our blog , so make sure to visit our website and social media in the next few weeks to see if you are the lucky winner!

Named one of the top 100 festivals and events in Ontario, the Children’s Festival is a wonderful opportunity for families to be active and enjoy some time together at the picturesque Spencer Smith Park on Burlington’s waterfront.
