July 31, 2019 | Posted by The Rocca Sisters & AssociatesWhether you’re enjoying a lazy Sunday brunch with friends or just trying to get through the daily grind (pun intended), a great go-to cafe can make all the difference. We asked members of our Team to weigh in, and here is our definitive list of the five cafes in Burlington that we love-a-latte!
1. Lettuce Love Cafe –
An ultra-healthy cafe that boasts mindfulness and sustainability and just happens to be the first vegan and gluten-free restaurant in Canada. Their amazing fair-trade coffee and incredible food are sure to delight even the most stubborn carnivore! We recommend the falafel bowl with a side of avocado fries. Trust us, your body — and the environment — will thank you.
2. Pane Fresco –
This Italian-style cafe is located right in the heart of beautiful downtown Burlington. As the name implies, the cafe features fresh breads, baked goods and pizza as well as incredible coffee, soups, and desserts. Need we say more?
3. JC’s Hot Bagels –
Don’t let its low-key appearance fool you — just one taste and you’ll agree that JC’s Hot Bagels are by far the best bagels in Burlington! While bagels are their speciality, their coffee, sandwiches and breakfast wraps are also delicious. Their reasonable price points will have you coming back again and again!
4. Lakeshore Coffee –
Located on the corner of Lakeshore and Brant, this adorable cafe offers amazing coffee, sandwiches‚ soups‚ salads‚ quiche‚ fresh-baked pastries and more! With comfy chairs and large windows, it’s also the perfect spot for curling up with a great book or watching the world go by.
5. Tamp Coffee –
We couldn’t do a list of the best cafes in Burlington without including this highly-rated coffee spot. While their food selection is fairly modest, their coffee is truly second to none. If you’re a discerning coffee drinker, we defy you to find a tastier cup in town!
Honourable Mention: Lola’s Choco Bar and Sweet House –
This gorgeous cafe is the perfect place to visit on a warm day. Sitting outside in the cobblestoned courtyard will make you feel like you’ve been transported to a quaint European cafe. The coffee is great and the sweet treats are exceptional. Do yourself a favour and check this place out; we promise you won’t be sorry!
