Fun was had by all who attended the Applefest Fall Fair this past Sunday at the Ireland House Museum located at 2168 Guelph Line in Burlington.
As the presenting Sponsor of this Museums of Burlington’s event, The Rocca Sisters were thrilled to take part in the harvest celebration that took place right in the heart of our community.
“We always enjoy expressing our sincere gratitude to the community for their generous support over the years and at this past Applefest was no different,” says Cathy Rocca.
The sun shined bright and provided warmth and good cheer to fair goers as they took part in the vast array of activities and things to do.
“It was such a great day, filled with fun activities for the entire family,” says Cathy.
Children got their fill of fun with hay mazes, pony rides, crafts and games galore! Festival goers delighted in fantastic live entertainment, watched historic demonstrations, toured the Ireland House Museum, and even admired the antique cars. Those who brought their appetite enjoyed a country-style BBQ that served up the best of ‘Harvest Fare.’
The Rocca Sisters & Associates offered a creative, free craft for all children to take part in as they visited their tent throughout the day.
Children took great pleasure in colouring and decorating their very own Trick-or-Treat Bag to use on Halloween night!
“The Fair is always a great opportunity to re-connect with members of our community who we have not seen for a while,” says Cathy. “Even to meet some new faces, new family members that we may not have met otherwise!”
