We are happy to announce we are once again the very proud Presenting Sponsors of Applefest Fall Fair, an old-fashioned FREE fall fair right in the Burlington. On Sunday, September 28 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., we invite you to join our Rocca Sisters & Associates at Ireland House at Oakridge Farm (2168 Guelph Line) to celebrate the best the fall season has to offer. Admission to the event is FREE compliments of the Rocca Sisters as a thank you to our incredible community for all the support you show us throughout the year and for making us the #1 Sales Team in Burlington for a fourth consecutive year (2010-2013)!

Presented by the Museums of Burlington, Applefest is a day full of Fall Fair fun including an outdoor pancake breakfast from 9-11 a.m. to start the day off right. From apple schnitzeling and cider making to fair-style games, scarecrow making, junior farmer competitions, blacksmith demonstrations, tours through historic Ireland House, children’s games and crafts, face painting and more, the day is a great way to spend time with family, get to know your neighbours and meet new friends along the way. The day also includes live entertainment on stage, country music and dance demonstrations, learning how to milk a cow with the Dairy Farmers of Ontario, and shopping with local vendors and artisans offering fall treasures, home decorations and unique handmade items.

Of course, a fall fair wouldn’t be complete without the best in fall harvest cuisine like chilli dogs and pulled pork and delicious apple treats like apple tarts and apple pie.

Be sure to sign your children up for their chance to be crowned this year’s Applefest Fall Fair Prince & Princess. The pageant is open for children 6 to 10 years old.

Proceeds from this event go towards the Museum of Burlington’s educational programs and preservation of the historic collection.
