Excitement and holiday spirit were plentiful on Tuesday, Nov. 18 at Terra Garden Centre in Waterdown where, for one night only, the garden centre graciously closed its doors to the public to host a special holiday evening just for our clients. From 7-9 p.m., hundreds of our clients, friends and family enjoyed delicious holiday cookies and a make-your-own specialty gourmet hot chocolate station. Children took part in a free ornament decoration craft station while their parents enjoyed a free greenery workshop. There were free prize giveaways, exclusive discounts and offers on Terra products, and more. Even Santa stopped by to take photos with families.

The Rocca Sisters & Associates pride ourselves in our many Community Giveback Events held each year that support various causes near and dear to our hearts, as well as those of our clients. These events are our way of expressing our sincere appreciation to the members of our community for all the support they have shown us as well all work to make our community an even better place to live, work and play.

Some of the organizations we have been proud to support include the Joseph Brant Hospital Foundation, McMaster Children’s Hospital, the Juravinski Cancer Centre, Ovarian Cancer Canada, Carpenter Hospice, Muscular Dystrophy Canada, Museums of Burlington, Scooby Soccer and our local food banks, just to name a few. We will continue our support for these and many others so that we can improve the overall quality of life of our friends, neighbours and colleagues.

Just as we appreciate our community, it is also very important to us that we show our appreciation for our clients who have supported us from the very beginning. We consider ourselves very privileged to have created long-lasting relationships with our clients and their families. It is from these relationships that we gain the majority of our business, from repeat clients and from our relationships recommending us.

With such close ties to our clients and their families, it was wonderful to have the chance to gather at Terra Waterdown to catch up and to show them just how much we appreciate all they have done for us. We could never have made it to being the #1 Team in Burlington or the #3 Team in Canada for Royal LePage (2013) without their support and for that we are truly grateful.

Thank you to all of you who joined us at Terra. We hope you enjoyed the activities, the food, the shopping and, of course, the company. We also wish to thank Terra for being such fantastic hosts and for providing our clients with amazing holiday decorating ideas and some great deals on holiday planters, Christmas trees, decorations, and more.
