Thank you Burlington and area for making Applefest Fall Fair a HUGE SUCCESS!!!
September 30, 2014 | Posted by The Rocca Sisters & AssociatesCathy and Tanya Rocca and the entire Rocca Sisters & Associates’ team would like to thank everyone who came out to the Museums of Burlington’s Applefest Fall Fair this past Sunday, Sept. 28. We were once again the proud Presenting Sponsors of this local community event that was held on the grounds of the historic Ireland House at Oakridge Farm in Burlington.
The event was a huge success and attracted roughly 5,000 visitors from near and far. The weather could not have been more perfect and we were pleased to have the opportunity to spend such a beautiful fall day with so many families from our community and enjoy the spirit of the season.
Admission was free compliments of the Rocca Sisters & Associates as a thank you to our community for all the support we receive each year. We are proud of our relationships with our community; it’s what drives our continued success and commitment to giving back.
On Sunday, families were treated to a full day of Fall Fair fun that included pony rides, a hay maze, fair-style games, scarecrow making, live entertainment, animal exhibits, artisan demonstrations, tours through historic Ireland House, children’s crafts and more. We even crowned this year’s Applefest Prince & Princess!
We would also like to thank our local media partners for coming out to cover this fantastic event.
All proceeds raised from the event will go towards the Museum of Burlington’s educational programs and preservation of the historic collection.
Stay tuned for more pictures coming soon to the “Events” section of our website, www.RoccaSisters.ca. You can also see pictures on our Facebook page at Facebook.com/RoccaSisters. And be sure to watch our video from the event in the “Giving Back” section of our webTV channel, www.RoccaSistersTV.ca.
